Dr. Luke Zambetti

Prior to graduating Summa Cum Laude from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Zambetti grew up in Scarsdale, NY. In his youth, he was an accomplished professional opera singer performing in over one hundred shows at Lincoln Center. He went on to pursue his undergraduate education at Amherst College, where he played collegiate varsity football, published his Honors Thesis research, and graduated Cum Laude with Distinction.

During his training at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Zambetti graduated #1 in his class and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Dental Society, the premier honors society of dentistry. He was also awarded nine other honors and scholarships during his training, including the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons Award for outstanding achievements in the performance of oral & maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. Zambetti continued his postgraduate specialty training in oral & maxillofacial surgery at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. He received additional affiliated training at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital, the National Institutes of Health, and the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He also received pediatric anesthesia and pediatric craniofacial surgical training at the renowned Children’s National Hospital. He is a peer-reviewed published author.

Outside of work, Dr. Zambetti has extensive pursuits in local and international community outreach. Recently, he traveled to Madagascar for four weeks to provide oral surgical treatment to the under-served Malagasy. In his spare time, Dr. Zambetti also enjoys singing, golfing, body-weight fitness, hiking, and being the “cool uncle” to his four young nephews.

Dr. Zambetti specializes in cosmetic implant dentistry including computer-guided implant surgery, bone grafting, and bone regeneration techniques, sinus augmentation, wisdom tooth extraction, and IV sedation.
